THE MOVIES, A LOVE STORY

Everyone loves the movies. River very much so. We started working with the major movie distributors over 10 years ago and we’ve been star struck ever since.

The love story began in 1998 with media and promotional web sites for Warner Bros., Columbia Tristar Pictures and United International Pictures. Soon followed Twentieth Century Fox, Sandrew Metronome and Buena Vista International. Eventually SF Film also came onboard.

With such fun, inspiring and exciting clients, River enjoys working with movie releases from familiar studios like Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, Fox, Disney, Paramount, Universal, Dreamworks, New Line and a number of others.

We work with over 100 movie titles every year, creating artworks and producing outdoor, web, print – you name it. In the process we have turned into movie marketing specialists and creative partners for a majority of the industry. This is something we take very seriously. Our knowledge of the inner workings of the movie business – and the fact that this many competitors are sharing the same vendor – has time and again proved a successful and beneficial arrangement for everyone.

BONNIER.COM, BONNIER.SE AND GLOBAL INTRANET

bonnier_1 The Bonnier Group is one of the most prominent companies in Sweden with its 75 divisions across 20 countries.
River developed and produced the official corporate sites bonnier.com and bonnier.se that were launched in March 2009. River was involved throughout each phase of the project; the concept, basic design, flash animations and all implementation.

The sites feature, among many things, several blog feeds with articles from around the world. This helps to keep the content alive and current. The system is built on open source code and is wired for easy editing and updating by several editors. It also allows for easy sharing of content between sites.

River has also developed The Bonnier Group’s official intranet, Bonfire. Bonfire was built on and inspired by modern ideas of community sharing, housing a potential 12 000 employees worldwide.

River is proud to have been trusted with this important assignment from Bonnier, with its focus on high-quality media products, on- and offline.

LILLY, AND INSIGHT DRIVEN COMMUNICATION.

River will always strive for solutions that bring long term benefits to our clients. For sure, we’ll develop flashy websites with lots of bling-bling to go. We’re good at that. But that’s just one step in becoming a long term partner.

River lives and breathes by what we refer to as Insight Driven Creation. Simply put, it’s about understanding the client’s need beyond the immediate scope. For instance, how does the company penetrate it’s market? What is the core offer? How is that offer conceptualized? What are the internal and external processes? What is the technological infrastructure at hand, and so forth. Intricate stuff, but we want to know it all.

Let’s talk about Lilly: one of the 10th largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, active in 143 countries with 40.000 employees.

River is engaged with 13 of Lilly’s affiliates in Europe, Asia and Africa. Mainly digital, but also print and direct marketing – communicating mainly with health care professionals (HCPs) and consumers on a highly regulated market. The flagship in this collaboration is Lilly Academy – a European platform for educational multimedia content for HCPs (www.lillyacademy.com). But also therapy related information sites like Lilly Diabetes (www.vandpunkten.info) and service portals like Lilly Congress and Education Service (se.lilly-lku.com) with its powerful back-end system.

River’s approach to client’s needs, by way of Insight Driven Creation, creates a unique collaborative atmosphere that is beneficial to both clients and their customers alike.

SKRUF SNUS

Leading producer of smokeless tobacco products, Skruf Snus is a challenging client acting on a fast moving and heavily regulated market. Just the way River like it.

This collaboration has so far involved projects such as brand development, new product designs and a nearly complete makeover of the Skruf brand. In addition, River created Skruf’s brand book and the innovative conceptual website. We are also responsible for the day-to-day design and production of all communication materials towards both market and sales channels.

A CRUSADING SWEDISH KNIGHT

The widely successful books about Arn The Knight became the most comprehensive film project ever undertaken in Scandinavia. And a huge box office success at that.

River was engaged to create the key art and produce, well, almost everything! Original poster art for the two Arn movies – both teasers and regular campaign, newspaper and magazine ads, outdoor campaigns, various editions for DVD boxes… the works! River spent two years in the company of Arn and his fight to survive in the Holy Land and at home.
